2 part-books, each consisting of 2 quires of 4. Watermark: Fleur de Lys, much resembling Heawood 1785A. Ruling: 12 5-line staves, red margins at both edges. Binding: stiff red and white marbled paper; on the cover someone wrote 'Di Diversi'.

Custodial history
Possibly linked to the Court of King James II at Whitehall (cf. Ashbee, et al.). Subsequently part of the Music School collection of printed and manuscript music, which was originally bequeathed to the University of Oxford by William Heather (c 1563-1627), and gradually added to until the end of the 18th century.
Acquisition
The collection was transferred to the Bodleian in 1885.
