Summary
Letter to Bateson, from 'J. Haldane 2/Lt.' serving with the Black Watch in France, describing his research on reduplication in mice with A.D. Sprunt and his sister Naomi Haldane (later Mitchison). The letter was quoted by Darlington, who says he found it among Bateson's papers, in a broadcast tribute to Haldane. Haldane's paper, with A.D. Sprunt and N.M. Haldane, was published in Journal of Genetics, 5, 1915.
