Probably acquired by the Library between 1605 and 1611.

Provenance

Worcester, Worcestershire, Benedictine cathedral priory of St Mary the Virgin : Binding leaves (4 at each end) are from a "rental and court-roll of the church of Worcester": this was used for binding purposes in s. xv, as appears from writing of that date, running at right angles to the writing of the rolll and in the same direction as the writing of the MS.: this writing includes the scribble "Permiscione prior ecclesie cathedralis beate Marie Wigornie" (fol. 276r) and a notice in which occur the words "ecclesie nostre Wyg'" (fol. 276v). ( MLGB3: evidence from binding or pastedowns and from contents).
