Summary
Beg. 'Quidam Rome imperator habuit filiam nomine Lleyke': followed at fol. 82 by a selection of twenty-one fables, here anonymous, but by Odo de Cerinton or Cheriton, of which the first beg. 'Fabula Moralis. Pulli celebrauerunt capitulum vt eligerent sibi regem': in the second an English proverb is introduced, 'Sylden ys the later Prophete the better', cf. fol. 84.
