Correspondents include Bill Rodgers, Christopher Graham, Ian Wrigglesworth, Shirley Williams, Tom Bradley, George Young, Mike Thomas, Vernon Bogdanor, John R Vincent, Roy Jenkins, and David Owen, among others. Includes edited draft statement regarding a collaboration between the SDP and Liberal Party (1981), SDP and Liberals paper proposing a comprehensive programme of economic and industrial reform, newspaper cuttings, draft CSD Statement, paper "The Realignment of British Politics", article "The Role of a Third Political Party", and Encounter article "Towards a Centre Party - The Need for a Realignment in Britain" by Stephen Haseler.
