DecorationFine borders, initials. Related to the style of Francesco d'Antonio del Cherico. Written in humanistic script by Gherardo di Giovanni del Ciriagio, citizen and notary of Florence, fol. 153v. (Pächt and Alexander ii. 282, pl. XXV) fol. 1r Type border, upper, left and lower margins Subject Floral designs, gold disks. In the lower margin two winged putti support a medallion with a coat of arms (azure a sea-lion (?) argent holding a crown or).

Stamped leather on boards with four clasps (one lost), Italian work, contemporary.
