Typescript draft report on the 1939 investigations, with manuscript revisions.
Attached to the draft are the following: a further 1p typescript bird list by Nicholson, dated 'Mid-summer 1956', and correspondence between Nicholson and J.M. Boyd (Nov, Dec 1956) regarding publication of the 'St Kilda 1956 bird paper'.
The 1956 paper probably made reference to the 1939 studies. The correspondence indicates that the 1956 paper was co-authored by Nicholson and the Scottish Naturalist was the preferred choice for publication.
