Music composed between 16th and 19th centuries. Items 5, 9-11 and 18-45 are in the hand of Sir F. A. G. Ouseley; the remainder in the hand of J. C. Büdinger. Ouseley has indicated the source of his text for most of the earlier items and added a few notes on textual details.
