Provenance
Fols. 1-20: Oxford, Oxfordshire, Merton College: Digby 61, fols. 1–20, contained a Merton ex-libris, now missing, but recorded by Langbaine in Bodleian MS. Wood F.26, p. 36, according to which 4 o MS. 53 contained 'in principio' the inscriptions: 'Liber Magistri Gulielmi Read Archidiaconi Roff. cuius primam partem et 3am emit Oxoniӕ et 2am a venerabili patro [sic] domino Tho. Trillek Episcopo Roff. oretis igitur pro singulis supradictis'; and 'Liber domus de Merton Oxon' in Libraria communi eiusdem et ad usum communem Magistrorum et sociorum ibidem studentium catenandus ex dono venerabilis patris domini Willelmi 3 i episcopi Cicestr' Oretis igitur pro eodem et benefactoribus'. Evidently a fragment of a much larger MS. The text is pr. G. Enestrüm, Bibl. mathematica 13 (1913). Th. Allen 4 o MS. 53. (MLGB3)
