Summary
Also known as 'Yemen Health', the film looks at the promotion and sale of western drugs in developing countries, many of which are inappropriate, and some potentially dangerous. It also looks at the increased use of baby milks, the misuse of which often leads to diarrhoea and death from dehydration. The film includes shots of mothers feeding children, fathers bringing their children into a chemist's shop, and small groups being made aware of the issues. It includes the argument for generic as opposed to branded drugs, and highlights the use of unecessary drugs and the World Health Organisation's attempt to introduce a basic drugs list.
