German textualis, s. xiiiex, two main hands: 1) (fols 4ra–67ra); 2) (fols 68ra–137va, l. 19); the rest in several hands. Marginalia, in contemporary hands; at least three annotating hands of s. xv from the Mainz Charterhouse.

Given to the Bodleian as part of his third donation, dispatched on 28 June 1639.

Mainz, Carthusian abbey of St Michael: the late 14th-cent. ex-libris inscription near the centre of fol. 172rb: ‘Iste liber est Cartusiensium prope mogunciam’, and the 15th-cent, ex-libris inscription at the head of fol. 173v: ‘Codex Carthusiensium maguncie’.
