Col. in Col.Wyndress's regiment, 1710; Commission signed by George II to John, Lord Catherlough as Colonel of the 1st troop of Horse Guards, 1733; letters to members of the Fane family on domestic matters, 1724,1727; bond to Thomas, Earl of Westmorland in 50 and a letter concerning it, 1733; Order by Thomas, Earl of Westmorland forbidding dogs on his Northamptonshire estates, 1735/6.
