Hands
Script: Naskh. Scribes: Most of the first part (ff. 1b-295b and 305a-369b) seem to be in the same hand, which (judging by a note in the first half) is that of Şāhī bin Muḥammed Tüsterī شاهی بن محمد تستری . A second, anonymous hand is responsible for the remainder of the first part ( ff. 296a-303b ), written on lighter-coloured paper, suggesting perhaps a post-factum replacement for missing pages. A third, again anonymous hand is responsible for three separate sections of the second part ( ff. 371a-378b , ff. 380a-498b , and ff. 507a-521b ), whereas a fourth and final anonymous hand is evident in the remaining sections of the second part ( ff. 370b, 379a-b, and 499a-506b). Remarkably, despite considerable differences in line height between some of these hands, a consistent number of lines per page has been maintained throughout by varying the height and width of the column.
