Inscr. on fol. 9v below the table of contents, s. xiii. (MLGB3: evidence from an ex-libris inscription or note of gift to an institution).

Custodial history

A former flyleaf (fol. 9) has a late 13th-cent. table of contents followed by 'Liber domine Deruorgoye de Bayll[iol]', 'Liber sancte Marie de dulci corde' (contemporary), and 'Liber C. Fairfax emptus apud Edinburgh 1652', for which cp. fol. 1. The volume thus passed from the lady Dervorguilla to her foundation of Sweetheart in Galloway.
