Summary

Collections from the decrees of the popes and councils, and the works of the fathers (including Bernard of Clairvaux, Anselm, Hugh of st. Victor, and Lanfranc), entitled 'Incipiunt excerptiones de libris canonicis', beg. 'Nulli sacerdotum suos liceat canones ignorare', imperfect at end, with long marginal glosses. The work is divided into sections, of which the following are the more important:

'Incipiunt excerptiones quedam de capitulis Theodulfi Aurelianensis episcopi' (fol. 27)

'Liber penitentialis incipit de grauissimo homicidio', beg. 'Quicunque homicidii' (fol. 47)

'Incipit de diversis sententiis', beg. 'In baptismo datur spiritus' (fol. 124)

Fol. iii is a leaf from a rather later theological treatise, containing a section beg. '[Q]uamvis eorum quibus exponere conpellebar'.
