Summary
The diary ends with the discovery of a small spring, just when the writer's cask of water was exhausted and he was ready to perish.
The twenty-two leaves of which the book consists are all ruled in red ink for entries of days and remarks, but only the first five pages are filled. The diary is in a very natural style, and appears to be a genuine record.
