Summary

Folder F.3.1: Alliance.

Coulson became a Vice-President in 1957. Correspondence and printed papers, 1957-1961.

Folders F.3.2 - F.3.3: Anglo-American Theological Conferences (Oxford Institute of Methodist Theological Studies).

These conferences grew out of discussions at the 1956 World Methodist Conference at Lake Junaluska. They were held in Oxford in the summers of 1958, 1962, 1965 and 1969. Coulson handled all the practical details for organizing and booking the conferences, which used Lincoln College as a base. 2 extensive folders of correspondence and printed matter:

Folder F.3.4: British Council of Churches.

Committee papers, correspondence, summary of Coulson's address at the Conference on Scientific and Technological Education, London, March 1955, 1955-1969.

Folder F.3.5: Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament.

Coulson was one of the sponsors of the organization. Correspondence regarding aims, activities and publications. Extensive printed material issued by the organization. Committee papers. The folder includes papers relative to the Oxford Branch of C.N.D. and to the Christian Group of C.N.D. 1958-1970.

Folder F.3.6: Central Council for the War on Want.

Coulson was a patron. Minor correspondence (2 letters only), 1958.

Folder F.3.7: Christian Education Movement.

Coulson was a Vice-President. Minor correspondence, 1970-1973.

Folder F.3.8: Clifton College.

Coulson's school. He was a Governor of the College. Correspondence, agenda, and notices of meetings, 1957-1971.

Folder F.3.9:

Council for Volunteers Overseas.

Coulson was member of the Council from 1969. Minor correspondence, reports, printed matter, 1969-1971.
