A copy of Sampson Erdeswicke's View of Staffordshire in the earlier epistolary form, which beg. 'Sr, Haveing disposed', and ends in the account of Wolverhampton with 'Councellour to King Edward the 4th.': then follows:
Domesday for the county, indexes, a letter from sir Simon Degge to George Digby of Sandon, 20 Feb. 16 6/7 9/0 (p. 86)
arms of the gentry of Staffordshire (p. 89) etc.
Some papers follow in different hands, containing mentions of other MSS. of the work, partly by George Toilet, 3 June 1775 (p. 101), lists of errors in this MS., and 3 leaves of a revised edition
