Indenture quadripartite between Henry VII., abbot John Islip and the convent of Westminster, abbot John and the monastery of Our Lady of Grace beside the Tower (otherwise called Eastminster Abbey), and the mayor and commonalty of London, for an anniversary and obit to be celebrated yearly in the church of Our Lady of Grace for the souls of Hen. VII., his queen, etc., together with the prescribed form of prayer

Summary

Dated 20 Nov 1504.

The first page is surrounded with a broad border of floral illumination with the portcullis, and the initial letter contains the royal arms. The binding is of purple velvet (lately renewed according to the old pattern) with central bosses of roses on the sides, portcullises at the eight corners (of which one is wanting), and clasps.
