Summary
Has recalled his licence to Mr. Chebsey, curate of Stony-Stratford, having found him guilty of various crimes, and given it to Mr. Hatch, upon which conditions Bp. Compton was ready to settle Dr. Clerke's gift of £30 per an. upon the living; Mr. Hatch was accused of drunkenness and with having said of Bp. Barlow that he was an old doting fool, but the charges were not proved.
