Summary
'Adversaria or collections for an history of the city of Lincoln. Indigesta moles. March 25th 1737', an uncritical but exhaustive collection of facts and documents relating to the city, cathedral, religious houses, bishops, etc., compiled by a clerk of the fabric elected to be such on 18 Oct. 1738 (p. 513), and stated to be 'Thomas Sympson.' Gough has added notes.
At p. 515a is a late 15th century copy of a Latin letter from the monastery of Halesowen to that of Welbeck about a vacancy in the bishopric of Worcester (?).
