Initials red or blue with pen flourishes in violet or green. On fol. 1r a crude initial in silver and gold and an unfinished border of foliage, added 16th-17th century, drawn in ink, washed in yellow, and partly coloured red. (Pächt and Alexander i. 889)
Acquisition
Chosen as one of the hundred manuscripts bequeathed to the Bodleian by Lyell in 1948.
