One hundred and twelve letters and other papers, written by or relating to Bishop Burnet and his works, the chief of which are:

(fols. 1, 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, 16, 26, 74, 85, 99, 101, 116, 182). Letters or autograph copies of letters and addresses by the bishop: that at fol. 5 is advice to king Charles ii to change his mode of life, dated Jan. 29, 1680, another at fol. 10, dated March 19, 1698, describes Burnet's interview with Peter the Great, czar of Russia;

(fol. 14). A letter from Thomas Comber to Burnet, Dec. 20, 1682, signed 'the Animadvertor';

(fol. 30). Two letters from Dr. John Younger, dean of Salisbury, to Burnet, Aug. 10 and 24, 1706, cf. fol. 9;

(fol. 36). Eleven letters to Burnet, all unsigned and undated, but written by Dr. Robert Leighton, exarchbishop of Glasgow (d. 1684), when in retirement at 'Bradhurst' in the parish of Horsted Keynes in Sussex, between 1675 and 1684;

(fol. 61). A copy by John Hoadly of a letter from 'J. C.' (archBishop Tillotson ?) to Burnet, Oct. 23, 1694;
