'Excerpta ex libro Scintillarum. Titul. i. de Caritate', copied by Junius from Royal MS. 7 C iv, in Old English-Latin, hence printed by Wanley, Thesaurus, pp. 86-7. This collection of theological commonplaces, often attributed to Bede or to Cassiodorus, is more probably by Defensor the monk, but for another view see Manitius, i. 423.
