About forty English madrigals and songs for 3 and 4 voices (the 'Cantus', 'Altus', 'Tenor' and 'Bassus' parts, each in a separate volume).
Among the authors are John Dowland, Thomas Hamond, Francis Pilkington and John Weelks, but several are anonymous. The writer of the volumes was Thomas Hamond who supplied one or two parts to at least one song. A list of the songs precedes in each book.
