A child's album containing copies of piano music and of songs with piano accompaniment in a German hand, beginning with F. Mendelssohn Bartholdy's pieces for Lilli Benecke, published as op. 72 nos. 6, 4 and 2, headed 'Kinderstücke v. F. Mendelssohn für Teddy Benecke componirt'. On fols. 4v-6 is a song, 'In den Wald', words [and music?] by Carl Klingemann, 1842. Probably copied by a German family living in England, mid-19th cent.
