Manuscript and typescript versions of short stories and articles, with related correspondence: 'Valedictory', [c.1946-1948]; 'Some Comparisons between Today and the Period 1911-1913', 1948; 'The Wall', 1949; 'King Gustav of Sweden', 1949-1950; 'Stalin As I Knew Him', 1950; 'This Limetree Bower My Prison', n.d.; 'Starrs and Drums', [c.1950]. Also includes general correspondence with publishers, editors, literary agents etc., 1948-1950, and with Alfred A. Knopf, Inc., regarding the possibility of Clark Kerr writing his memoirs, 1943-1950; and a printed version of 'Lord Inverchapel's Address' from The American Oxonian, [1947], with remarks on Cecil Rhodes, British colonies and imperialism.

Miscellaneous writings, including autobiographical notes, verses and translations, and unidentified texts and fragments. Also includes texts found with the Clark Kerr literary papers, but not by Clark Kerr, including the summary of political/philosophical discussion at Clark Kerr's dinner party, Mar 1948.
