Custodial history

Fol. 107. 'Hec cum dicetis Iohannem Wycham memoretis. Vt penetret celum breuis est oratio telum', in the original scribe's hand. John Wycham was no doubt a Benedictine monk of St. Leonard's Priory (cf. fol. 25, before which a leaf has been cut out), at Norwich (cf. the Calendar), which was famous for its miraculous image of Henry VI. 'Gulielmus Bisshopp' and 'Barnabas Bisshop' seem to have been 17th cent. owners.

The place of this MS. was for some years before 1888 occupied by MS. Rawl. Liturg. e. 1, this MS. then standing as MS. Barlow 46: see MS. Jones 47.
