Heliostat and other instruments, photographic study of a collection of instruments for demonstration of polarised light and other physical experiments by Claude-Marie Ferrier for Dubosq-Soleil. The objects in the photograph were exhibited by Dubosq-Soleil at the Great Exhibition of 1851. The instruments include a saccharometer on the left, a heliostat in the centre and a haloscope on the right.
