Summary
The Life of Our Lady, by John Lydgate: beg. 'O Thoughtfull herte': ends, one leaf being lost, 'bright torches shene': the author's name does not occur. The poem is in this MS. divided into six books, at fols. 14v 36, 68v, 75v; 86v.
The fly-leaves consist of:
parts of four leaves from a late 11th century sacramentary, fol. i;
a paper leaf written on late in the 15th century bearing two English poems, one of three seven-line stanzas, beg. 'Besechyth you of moderly pete', the other of nine lines, beg. 'It is to me of joy the esperance', fol. 95;
four leaves or parts of leaves from a 12th century breviary (with musical notes), fol. 96. [These last are on red 4-line staves, with c and F for line-signature, or b for space-signature. E.W.B.N.]
