This MS. was bequeathed to the Library, but had been lent by Mr. Jones to dr. John Mill, and passed into Edmund Thwaites' hands, who still had it in July 1708. See Hearne's Collections, 2 July 1708 (vol. iii. p. 117 of the printed edition). No doubt Thwaites restored it to the Library, since it occurs in its place in the earliest list of the collection in the Registrum Benefatorum..
