Red silhouette initials in rectangular frame with yellow ground; added occasional decoration in green. Red initials with simple decoration.

Binding

Brown tanned calf over laminated pulpboard for Abp. Laud, 1637–1639.

Acquisition

Part of his third donation to the Bodleian, 1639.

Provenance

Probably written at Eberbach: ex libris, fol. 208r, is part of the scribal colophon.

Cistercian monastery of Eberbach: scribal colophon (fol. 207r); ex libris, Liber sancte marie in eberbach (fol. 1r, 208r).

Possibly identifiable as d 12 in the Eberbach library catalogue of 1502.

F. Richard, 16th century, second half: his name inscribed on f. 208r

William Laud, 1573–1645, 1638.
