Summary

Dated 'Berlin Februar 1821'. Annotated, corrected and altered by F. Mendelssohn Bartholdy Fols. 38-41 are in his own early hand, similarly corrected. On fol. 169 is a note by Johann Nepomuk Hummel, to whom a performance was given, with accompaniment by string quartet, end of Apr 1821 [Lea to Henriette von Pereira-Arnstein, 6 May 1821]. A copy of vol. VIII of the music listed in the MS. Them. Cat., p. 20.
