Summary
The MS. consists of five sections lettered (b) to (g), then (fol. 49) twenty-two sections numbered i to xxii, all of eight leaves each: the writing of the two parts is identical in style. There are many coloured capitals and rubrics.
Comprises:
(fol. 1). Decretals proper, from pope Telesphorus (the first eight leaves being lost) to pope Urban ii (A.D. 1088-89): but something is wanting after fol. 48, see below
(fol. 86v), Canons of Councils from the Nicene (a.d 325), the chief divisions being Greek, then 'quedam sententie grecorum doctorum' (fol. 109v), African councils (fob 112v), Gallican (fol. 123), Spanish (fol. 132)
(fol. 156), 'Hactenus de corpore Canonum, ea quę sequuntur aut sententię sunt orthodoxorum patrum aut leges catholicorum regum aut synodicę sententię Gallicanorum aut Germanorum pontificum': ends abruptly, some leaves being lost, in a quotation from Augustine 'cui forte inuito atque.'
