Also includes papers relating to a possible transfer of the Opie's collection of children's books to Oxford:
Folder 1: 1982-1988, including A Dictionary of Superstitions, The Singing Game, a projected book on playground games, and a projected companion to childhood.
Folder 2: Correspondence with supporting papers, with Oxford University Press and later with the Bodleian Library relating to a possible transfer of the Opie's collection of children's books to Oxford, c.1978-1982.
