Copies of letters from William Sterndale Bennett to Felix Mendelssohn Barthody, 3 Oct 1836-2 Feb 1847, transcribed in February 1895 by Elizabeth (Lilli) Wach, the youngest daughter of Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy. The letters are in English which appears to be a translation back from the German.
Also included is a typescript of the letters made for Barry Sterndale-Bennett in June 1991.
