Summary
Nicholas Trivet's French chronicle, from the Creation to 1315, here without title or ascription, with the arms of England in the initial 'P', as the work was written for Mary, daughter of Edward i: beg. 'Por ceo que nous sumes avisez de ceaux que sont persons en estudie' (fol. 1), followed by the anonymous history of Richard i's crusade: beg. 'Lan del incarnacion nostre seigneur Jhesu Crist mille cent quatre vyntz et septisme, apres que Saladin' (fol. 107).
On fol. 1v is a list of books (about A.D. 1500): beg. 'Legenda sanctorum, Ryal, Vita Christi'. On fol. 123 is a letter from John Broughton esq. to John, bishop of Lincoln, dated at 'Todyndon' Aug. 8, 1459.
