Provenance
Owned by 'Iacobus Zabarella Patavinus Comes Palatii,' whose arms, motto ('Sapiens dominabitur astris') and coloured titlepage (16th century) are on fol. 1. This appears to be the philosopher Jacobus Zabarella, senior ( d. 1589). "A cardinal's arms appear above and perhaps connect with the original owner whose arms are probably overpainted" (Pächt and Alexander). See MS. D'Orville 75

At (fol. 225) are two 15th cent. leaves containing precepts of conduct, of which the beginning is lost, beg. 'Vende bladum dum satis valet ... De Superbia. Superbia contra inimicum.'.

Owned by 'Iacobus Zabarella Pat[avinus] Com[es] Pal[atii]', whose arms, motto ('Sapiens dominabitur astris') and coloured titlepage (16th cent.) are on fol. 1. This appears to be the philosopher Jacobus Zabarella, senior (d, 1589), but the introduction of a cardinal's hat is peculiar, the cardinals Zabarella bearing the names Franciscus and Bartholomaeus.
