Good historiated border. Fol. 1r: full border. Interlace, floral designs, bird, two putti supporting a shield with a coat of arms (checky argent and sable, on a chief argent the initials 'B B B' (?)).

Binding

15th century, third quarter, Italian (as MS.): wood boards with narrow inside bevel; medium-brown leather, blind-tooled with quadruple lines and stamps, including acanthus-leaf and near-strapwork designs; spine cross-hatched; remnants of one central fore-edge clasp with lost strap of similar leather; edges plain. Modern canvas repair to spine. 230 145 c. 37 (book closed).
