Summary

At end:' Explicit le commencement de lestoire del Saint Graal, et chi apres vient lestoire de Merlin. Diex nos maint tous a bone fin. Amen', all in capitals: beg. 'Chil qui si tient': ends 'or nos consalt Diex & sainte Marie. Amen.' This is the prose romance of the San Graal proper, as distinguished from the Quest of the San Graal. At fol. 107r occurs 'sires Robers de Borron qui ceste translata de Latin en Francois', cf. 112v ad fin. Robert de Borron is generally considered to have been the author.
