Acquisition

Given to the Bodleian as part of his third donation, dispatched on 28 June 1639.

Provenance

Written at Würzburg, Domstift St Kilian, to judge by the inclusion of the Passio s. Kiliani, and also the inserted letter on fol. 198ra–rb.

Würzburg, Domstift St Kilian, 15th century: the 15th-cent. foliation consisting of black roman numerals is identical in style with that of MS. Laud Misc. 157, which has an ex-libris inscription of the Domstift on fol. 227v.
