Summary
Comprises the first 39 chapters. The miniatures are well drawn and executed with brilliant colours. The arms of Estouteville occur frequently on the borders, sometimes empaling those of Paynel and other families. Louis d'Estouteville, who died before 1463, married Jeanne Paynel, and the writing is possibly as early as 1463.
