Summary
Copied by a different hand. 'Tho. Britton' is written on fol. 11; fol. 2 was repaired with a piece of paper containing part of the regulations of a music club.
Violin 1, fols. 1v-13; violin 2, fols. 16v-28; bass, fols. 31v-43; basso continuo, fols. 47v-59. Another hand added a sonata in B flat on fols. 13v-15, 28v-29v, 43v-45, 59v-61.

iii + 64 leaves. Each part is a single quire of upright folio. Watermarks, Fool's Cap, resembling Heawood 2001, countermark IR and Lion, resembling Heawood 3145, countermark DI. Ruling, 12 5-lined staves, no marginal ruling.
