Correspondence with Government ministers and civil servants of the Department of Health Agency (HPA). Includes correspondence re Walter Bodmer's appointment as Chairman in November 1998 and renewal of appointment to March 2003, papers of Board Meeting held 29 October 1998 and Board and Interim Whitley Council meetings, and draft corporate plan.
Papers of Special Board meetings held in 2003 are with papers relating to the establishment of the Health Protection Agency (HPA) to which they principally relate. The establishment of the HPA was also an item in general Board meetings.
