Sewn on three cords and bound in brown leather over pasteboard; the covers with blind-tooled fillets; the spine with a speckled paper title piece inscribed 'Thom. Cist. (?) | in Cantic.'.

The Cistercian monastery of Morimondo, Pavia
The added tabula has the inscription, 'Tabula anno domini MCCCX composita a dono [sic] Beltramo de Reoldis monacho et thessaurio Morimundi Mediolanensis ...' (this monk also copied California, Berkeley, MS. 49, at Morimondo in 1288)
