White leather on boards, with two leather straps, 15th-cent. English work.

Provenance

Canterbury, Kent, Benedictine abbey of St Augustine (originally of St Peter and St Paul): (MLGB3: evidence from the style of script or illumination).

Given to the Bodleian in 1680 by Alex. Fetherston, vicar of Wolverton and Prebendary of Lichfield. (MLGB3)

Late medieval binding. Fragments of Arator (half uncial, s. vii) have left legible offsets on the boards, but are themselves missing. (MLGB3)
