Summary
(fols. 11–17) Statement of the Roman doctrine on the Eucharist, addressed to a lady, with a table appended of 65 references to the Fathers in proof thereof.
(fol. 21) Letter from John Bosworth, at the house of Mr. Bedford Whiting, merchant in Lille (dated 2 Apr 1665), to Dr. Peter Gunning at Canterbury, enclosing a paper given him by a Romish priest, to which he desires an answer.
The paper (which follows at fol. 22, headed in Gunning's hand, "The propositions of a papist sent to mee to answer") is entitled, "A catalogue of summe of the ancient fathers that are for the masse and sacrifice of the Catholick Church," and "of the fathers that are for transubstantiation." The former list contains 16 references, the latter 20.
(fols. 168–173) The remainder of the discourse "of the Holy Eueharist, reall presence, and adoration of Christ therein" in MS. Rawl. C. 619.

Rawlinson's acquisition of the papers of Bishop Turner is thus mentioned by himself in a letter to H. Owen, 16 Nov 1749 (MS. Rawl. C. 989, fol. 84b): "I met with, some few years since, the MSS. of Turner, Bishop of Ely, and his brother the President of Corpus, which lay dormant till after Mr. Chishull's death, executor to the President."
