Inscribed by Bridges (fol. viii) 'First draught of this play: one or two pages rewritten. Daniel printed from fair copy Autumn 1889. This presented to Lionel Muirhead by his affet friend RB - Sept 24. 1889'. With a letter (fols. vi-vii) from Bridges to Muirhead explaining why he decided not to send him the volume.
