fol. 161r (upper margin): Ἰωάννῃ Νικομηδείας καὶ Κωνσταντίνῳ Νακολείας τοῖς αἱρεσιάρχαις, ἀνάθεμα. Προσέτι τοῖς ζηλώσασι καὶ μιμησαμένοις τὴν τριφυᾶ κακίαν τῶν εἰρημένων αἱρεσιαρχῶν προέδρων, ἀνάθεμα γ´. Εἴ τις Χριστὸν τὸν Θεὸν περιγραπτὸν οὐχ ὁμολογεῖ κατὰ τὸ ἀνθρώπινον, ἀνάθεμα γ´.

Parchment, with paper at fols 122–127.

Physical extent

Foliation: iv+ 173 leaves, parchment apart from paper at fols 122–127, taken from another MS. This MS consisted of an 11th-cent. core with late 13th-century parchment restorations made when it was presented to the cathedral at Mistra, and many subsequent annotations. The paper quire represents a later phase of updating.

Holkham binding of brown stamped leather with Coke family ostrich crest in gilt in the centre of the upper cover; Date: early nineteenth century. Rebound by John Jones of Liverpool (worked for Holkham 1816–1823). The spine lettered in gilt: / ECCLESIARUM/ GRÆCARUM/ SYNODI.// MS. GR.–// SEC. XI. / in pasted black leather(?): MS. /HOLKHAM/ Gr. 6 /
