Summary

The chief of the miscellanies are:

(fol. 1) An amatory poem: at end, 'Explicit Amor per ducem Eborum [Ebo 4, which I take as = Eboracensem. E.W.B.N.] nuper factus': beg. 'Excellent soueraine semely to see.'

(fol. 3v) Short poems, begg. 'Fair fresshest erthly creature', 'Crist crowned kyng', 'En Jhesu roy soueraign | You lady fare and fre' (French and English)

(fol. 7) Rhythmical Latin verse, entitled 'Disputacio inter Diuitem & Lazarum': beg. 'Audi, sancte senior, audi me loquentem.'

(fol. 9) 'Nomina omnium ecclesiarum in ciuitate London' & suburbiis eiusdem', 134 in number: followed by the dimensions of st. Paul's cathedral, and other statistics: notes of the Cinque Ports, of Saints, archbishops of Canterbury to Hubert Walter (d. 1205), in Latin verse

(fol. 25) The order of a King's coronation, wanting the beginning, in Latin: beg. 'Edwardi que regalia singulatim sicut auferentur tradentur Abbati Westmonasteriensi.'

(fol. 29v) The first twenty chapters of the Secretum Secretorum attributed to Aristotle, in Latin, with prefatory matter by Philippus clericus: the rest was not transcribed

(fol. 37) 'Thordynaunce for chesyng of chirche wardeyns in S. Stephens Chirche in Colman strete', London, and statutes for bells and pitts.
